  Notes	From the Martinsville Bulletin, 5 January 2018, updated 11 April 2019: Mary Maxey Anglin Minter, 71, of Stokesdale, N.C. passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was born on August 21, 1946 to the late Edward Ray Maxey and Hazel Hall Maxey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Minter. Mrs. Minter was a member of Ellisboro Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially her two grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey W. Anglin and wife Lisa of Fieldale, Va.,; sisters, Brenda Ratcliff, Linda Martin, Sharon Davis, and Debbie Bates; and brothers, Grady, Junior, Lannie, Ike, and Timmy Maxey all of Martinsville, Va. Also surviving are two grandchildren and a special friend, Ronald Jones. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with the Reverend Michael Tillman officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, N.C. 27375, or to Ellisboro Baptist Church, 1595 Ellisboro Road, Madison, N.C. 27025.
