Emma was the wife of Edward Minter. This photo was taken in 1915 and shows Emma and her son George Minter in the hopfields at Otford, Kent.

This photo was taken at Inville Road, London SE17 in 1945 on the occasion of Peggy Richardson's wedding. Peggy was a cousin of Emma Minter's granddaughter (Alexandra) Rose Smith, who appears in the photo perched on the windowsill to the left of the picture. Rose's mother Florence May Smith nee Minter is on the far left of the picture. Emma Minter stands on the far right next to her daughter Nellie Minter.
