Dr Michael Minter. Evidently taken
about 1862 by Eugen de Balk of Geelong, Victoria. The original photo is
endorsed on the back "Ada from her affectionate Papa Mount Moriac
3rd May 1862".

Eleanor Edmonds Minter nee Jeffery. The photo probably dates from 1866: it
is endorsed on the back "Eleanor Edmund Minter nee Jeffreys wife of

1866".

The two photos above
are of Dr Minter's daughters Flora (born 1854) and Ellen (born 1856), the
first at the ages of 12 and 10, the second at 20 and 18. The photographer
of the second picture was of Foster & Martin, 55&57 Collins St E.,
Melbourne.

John Minter was a well-known solicitor and coroner in Folkestone. This picture appeared in Memoirs of The Minter Family by George Warden Haines (John Minter's nephew), privately printed in 1937.
Percival Augustus Minter

WW2. Augustus and his wife Ruby May nee Barratt are shown with their
daughter Barbara. Barbara was engaged to Tom but he was killed in action.

Otto married Martha Hannah Fuller in February 1881 in London. Martha was born about 1862 in Wells next the Sea, Norfolk. Her picture is below.

The identity of these
two naval gentlemen is uncertain. They are possibly associated with
the family of John Moolenburg Minter. Both photographs were provided by
Valerie Page. Erica Minter suggested in early 2025 that the top picture could be of JMM's father Thomas Minter (1785-1857) - the
rings on the sleeve indicate the Royal Navy rank of Captain, which Thomas Minter reached. John Moolenburg Minter himself, at the height of his Royal Navy career,
was the Inspector-General of Hospitals and Fleets, equivalent in rank to Rear-Admiral.
