Ash

There's just one picture on this page. It was kindly donated by Martyn Jolly with the comment that "When I was clearing my late aunt's house I came across a few old photographs, including one on glass. It is unlabelled but I think there is a high likelihood that it is a picture of my (5x) great grandmother, Lydia Minter of Ickham (1789-1871) and her husband Thomas Davis." Martyn thinks this remarkable picture probably dates from the 1860s and could be the oldest photo on the Minter Exchange website.

Lydia was the daughter of Thomas Minter (1751 - 1828) and the brother of Daniel Minter (1795 - 1871).
