  Notes	From findagrave.com: Maurice Beryl Lee, 88, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2022, surrounded by family. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be laid to rest Saturday, June 18th, 12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Chapel. Visitation will be held at the same location Friday, June 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Maurice was born December 3, 1933, to Bessie Simpson and Robert Ray Lee in Mannsville, OK. He graduated from Panhandle High School and received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Texas Christian University. He was a veteran who served in the Army at Fort Huachuca, AZ from 1954 through 1956. Maurice was a certified manager who retired as a Chief of Quality Assurance from Lockheed after 35 years of employment. As a proud member of the River Oaks Christian Church for 40 years, he served in many capacities during his time including as an elder and Sunday school teacher. He volunteered for over 20 years with both Meals on Wheels and the Texas Health Cardiac Rehab Facility. He enjoyed snow skiing, TCU sports, and spending time with his family. Maurice was survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia Lee; daughter, Maurie Lee; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Thomas Lee, and son, Douglas Lee. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to River Oaks Christian Church General Fund or an Animal Shelter of your choice.
