      MIDLOTHIAN, TX - Zane Maurie (Evans) Minter, 82, was born in Dallas, Texas on November 14, 1929 to Roy and Pearl Evans and went to be with our Heavenly Father on November 5, 2012.

      Mrs. Minter attended Adamson High School and was one of 9 children. She married Charles J. Minter in 1949 and the love never stopped. Zane loved life! Charles and Zane had 3 girls: Iris Crest Minter, Charlotte Maurie Minter, and Myra Jane Minter. They had non-stop adventures from then, until their girls left home. They enjoyed life and lived everyday to the fullest.

      Mrs. Minter was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister. She was survived by her loving husband, Charles J. Minter, and her 3 daughters: Iris (Minter) Stewart (and husband Ray), Charlotte Maurie Minter, and Myra Jane Minter; 2 grandchildren: Jennifer Lyn Cleveland (and husband Bobby) and Jason Ray Stewart; 8 great-grandchildren: Haley Jordan Stewart Cleveland, Dustin Robert Cleveland, Gracie Alexis Cleveland, Jorden Myers Beasley, Emma Catherine Stewart, Ethan Alexander Stewart, Wyatt Stewart, and Christopher Thomas Stewart; 2 sisters: Vera (Evans) Holder and Myra (Evans) Robinson; 2 brothers, Duane Evans and John Evans (and wife Betty).

      Mrs. Minter loved her family and they all loved her beyond words. She always tried to help everyone to the best of her ability and never had bad things to say about anyone. Mrs. Minter was happy in the Lord and she knew her eternity was with our Lord.

      Graveside services were on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Midlothian Cemetery.
