From the Kilmore Free Press, 9 July 1931: R. M. Minter Memorial Christ Church, Kilmore, one of the oldest sacred edifices in the State, was on Sunday last fairly filled at the 11 o'clock service by a large congregation, including many friends of the late Mr Robert Michael Minter a memorial window to whom was dedicated and unveiled by his Lordship, Dr Carter, Bishop of Wangaratta, prior to entering the pulpit, unveiled the memorial, a beautifully stained glass window illustrative of the Good Samaritan and briefly announced its presentation to and acceptance by the church, -subsequently preaching on the text Luke 23-37; and likening unto him the life and conduct of person to his memory was that day unveiled the gift in testimony of his work. With devout attention the appropriate ceremony was listened to by the congregation and the incumbent, rev. Mr Pitford ,with a former minister of Christ Church (the rev.
