Frederick Miliner Minter

1867 - 1955  (87 years)

• Name	Frederick Miliner Minter
  Birth	18 Sep 1867	Ipswich, Suffolk   [1, 2]
Christening	27 Nov 1883	St Clement, Ipswich, Suffolk   [2]
  Gender	Male
  _UID	0528985BC5FF4BBB97BC68AB824402E901AD
Death	10 Apr 1955	East Suffolk Hospital, Ipswich, Suffolk   [1]
Notes	1901 census: not found. 1911 census: at 7 Pauline, St Peters, Ipswich (5 rooms), Fred Minter (head, 42, marital status not stated, iron founder, worker, born Ipswich) and Alice Minter (wife, 40, married 17 years, no children, born Woodbridge, Suffolk). Form signed Fred Minter. [This entry shows that married again about 1894, but no marriage has been found and no death for Alice has been found. Later: a Probate entry for Martha Alice Minter, wife of Frederick Miliner (sic) Minter has now been found, so it's certain that Frederick married again. The mention of Arthur Lewis CLOUTING may be a clue to Martha Alice's identity but hasn't yielded anything. Later still: a marriage announcement appeared in the Ipswich Journal on 30 December 1893. It shows that at Hasketon Church on 26 December 1893, Fred Milner Minter, eldest son of Fred and Rachael Minter, of Ipswich, married Martha Alice BURCH, third daughter of John and Eliza Burch of Ipswich. The reason I couldn't find the marriage in the BMD index is that the groom appears as Fred Miliner-Winter!] It looks as if Frede's middle name was MILINER so I've adpted this instead of MILNER. 1939 Register: at 37 Tomline Road, Ipswich C.B., Suffolk Minter, Frederick M born 18 Sep 1868, married, iron moulder Minter, Martha A born 31 May 1872, married, unpaid domestic duties Listed in the London Gazette 9 Jan 1946: Frederick Milner MINTER, Iron Moulder, E. R. & F. Turner Ltd. From England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966 at Ancestry.com: Minter Frederick Miliner (sic) of 37 Tomline Road Ipswich died 10 April 1955 at East Suffolk Hospital Ipswich Probate Ipswich 19 May to Arthur Lewis Clouting of no occupation.
