Emma's death was announced in The Argus on 14 February 1924 "...widow of the late Michael Minter, Dhurringhile, Murchison, aged 79 years (private interment on the 13th at Brighton)" * In an email in May 2010 Tim Kendall says he believes that Emma's parents never married. In December 2012 he commented as follows: Emma Cunninghame was my great grandmother, her daughter Marie Emma Minter was my grandmother and Noelle Vaughan was my mother. We know Emma Cunninghame's mother was Emma Lampard but it seems she never married Robert Charles Cunninghame. Emma Cunninghame was brought up by her uncle Boyd Alexander Cunninghame.
