Mary Ann and family were at 6 Swan Lane, Rotherhithe, Mary Ann (head, married, 29), Frederick (6), Charles (4) and Jessie (8 months). All born in Rotherhithe. In May 1903 Frederick, ship stoker, and Mary lived at 6 Swan Lane, Rotherhithe. In October 1898 Frederick was described as a steamship fireman of 6 Swan Lane. 1911 census: at 48 Bush Road, Rotherhithe, London (3 rooms), Fredk. Walter (head, 45, married, ships fireman, born Rotherhithe, London), Mary Ann (wife, 39, married 19 years, 9 children, 2 living 7 died, born Rotherhithe, London), Frederick W [sic] (son, 16, single, greengrocers assistant, born Rotherhithe, London) and Charles H (son, 14, timekeepers assistant, tin factory, born Rotherhithe, London). Form signed Mary Ann Minter. Although Frederick and Mary Ann were said to have had 9 children by the 1911 census, the registrations of only 3 of them have been identified.
