FORMER TRAINER DEAD
James Minter, 67, a well-known trainer and former jockey, of North st, Ascotvale, died yesterday after a long illness.
Mr Minter began riding at country race meetings when he was 12, and later came to the city. He took up training, and won races in the city with Pam's Dream.
