Buried as of Boughton Blean.
Will dated 17 September 1816, proved on 1 March 1823 at Canterbury Consistory Court. Administration committed to John Boulden (one of his father's executors - see Will of John Minter of Boughton-under-Blean) he being bound with Stephen Minter, labourer and William Minter, labourer, in the sum of £200. Recorded in Canterbury Consistory Court Act Books (PRC 22/28 1803 - 1828), folio 171 - noted by Cliff Minter February 2007.
The Will was re-sworn as being of value of less than £300 (previously valued as under £100). John Boulden, schoolmaster, now bound in the sum of £600 and given new power of administration on 22 April 1829. (Consistory Court Act Book 1829, No. 8, recorded by Cliff Minter).
The Will was seen by Kirkham Sidney Minter on 22 July 1954 at Maidstone. He made the following notes.
Will of John Minter of Boughton-under-Blean, Farmer.
Bequeaths house in which he lives, with buildings, farm, lands and appurtenances &c in the parish of Boughton and all testator's real estate whatsoever to the use of his wife, Susanna Minter, and her assigns, for the term of her natural life.
On her decease, this property to pass to all testator's children, to be divided between them as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.
Household furniture, plate, china, linen, ready money, farming stock, crop, horses, cattle, implememts, utensils and effects bequeathed to wife, Susanna Minter. All the rest of goods, chattels, money debts, stock, funds, and securities for money and all personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever bequeathed to testator's children, to be equally divided between them.
If son, Stephen Minter, or daughter, Sarah Minter, shall die before said wife, Susanna, their children shall have their part, to be equally divided between them at her decease.
Executors: John Boulden, Robert Barker.
Witnesses: Henry Berry, John Lilly, Thomas Barns.
Codicil: If children, William or Susanna Minter should die without heirs, their shares should be equally divided among the rest of testator's children or their heirs. (Codicil bears same date and was witnessed by same persons as the original will).

October 11th 1825 aged 85 years.
