Thomas Irvin Minter

1878 - 1969  (90 years)

• Name	Thomas Irvin Minter
  Birth	1 Sep 1878	Kentucky, USA   [1]
  Gender	Male
  _UID	F9F3046859E44BDBB683042CC47D8F4D4111
Death	27 Apr 1969	Los Angeles, California, USA   [1]
Notes	1910 United States Federal Census: in Austin Ward 5, Travis, Texas (all MINTER), Thomas I (head, 31, born Kentucky, teacher, public school), Lillian E (wife, 30, married 7 years, 2 children both living, born Texas), Bessie (daughter, 6, born Texas), Billy (son, 5, born Texas) and Joe H (brother, 15, born Texas, newsboy on the streets). 1920 United States Federal Census: in East 23rd Street, Austin Ward 5, Travis, Texas (all MINTER), Thomas I (head, 41, born Kentucky, postman, US mail), Elizabeth (wife, 39, born Texas), Bessie (daughter, 15, born Texas), Billie H (son, 14, born Texas) and Fannie L (daughter, 7, born Texas). 1930 United States Federal Census: not found, except for Thomas's wife: In District 17, Austin, Texas, by herself, S Elizabeth MINTER (head, 50, married at 23, born Texas, executive, girl scouts). 1940 United States Federal Census: in Reservoir Street, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California (both MINTER), Thomas I (head, 61, born Kentucky, letter carrier US Post Office) and Sarah E (wife, 60, born Texas). They were in the same place in 1935. I'm assuming that Thomas's wife was Sarah Elizabeth ie that 'Lillian E' of 1910 was a mistake.
