  Notes	1881 census: Eliza (23, dressmaker) was a visitor in Langham Road, Boxted with George PAGE and his family. George's wife Rose Annie was Rose Annie Minter, Eliza's cousin. 1891 census shows Elizabeth, 30 (!) a dressmaker & milliner, in Colchester 1901 census shows her as 42, a dressmaker, living in Stanwell Street, Colchester with Afred DISS and family plus Fred Seabourne, 'visitor', age 4 born in London. 1911 census: recorded as Elizabeth Minter, at Vine Cottage, 47 Butt Road, Colchester (6 rooms), Elizabeth (sic) (head, 52, single, dress maker, own account at home, born Boxted) and a boarder, Alfred DISS (65, widower, master builder, born Fordham, Essex). Form signed Elizabeth Minter. 1921 census: recorded as Elizabeth Minter, at 47 Butt Road, Colchester , Elizabeth (sic) (head, 63y 3m, single, born Boxted, dress maker at home). Also Emma Dennis (boarder, 79y 6m, widow, born Boreham, Essex, no occupation) and Marianne COOK (paying guest, 82y 11m, single, born Stoke bt Nayland, Suffolk, no occupation). 1939 Register: at 47 Butt Road, Colchester M.B., Essex MINTER, Elizabeth born 10 Mar 1859 (sic, actually born 1858), single, dressmaker (own business) CURRY, later GUNTER, Gladys A born 1 Mar 1899, single, paid housekeeper HALL, Richard L born 13 Mar 1906, single, asst schoolmaster (secondary), subject - science. BSc Hons chemistry (Manchester 927) POWELL, later BALLS, Ivy R born 5 Jul 1911, single, trained certificated asst teacher. I think the death registered at Hove in 1953 probably related to this Elizabeth.
