  Notes	A mariner of Coolinge, Folkestone in 1851. Provided for completion of three houses at Grace Hill, Folkestone in his will. The will was dated 17 February 1851 and proved at Canterbury Prerogative Court on 5 June 1851. Executors: Caroline, widow, Thomas, brother and Hunt Jeffrey, gentleman of Coolinge. Monumental Inscription:"John Minter died 18 Feb 1851 age 44 leaving Caroline, his wife and 3 children John, William and Catherine." It's not known who Catherine was - possibly the transcriber mis-read the inscription. 1841 census: in Milton, Gravesend, Kent, John (30, pilot) and Caroline (30). April 2024:
