I think it must have been. there's a record at findagrave.com for Jack Minter and his wife Ruby L TAYLOR but there's a birth index record for a birth in 1954 with father Willie Van Minter and mother Ruby Lee Taylor. I'm putting the name as Willie Van "Jack" Minter.
