  Notes	From findagrave.com, Aug 2015: Otho Samuel (Sonny) Minter, 75 of Idabel passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris Texas. Sonny was born on October 28, 1938 in Idabel, OK Sonny was a lifetime resident of Idabel, OK and was an active member of the community. He was affectionately known as "Sunshine" to those closest to him. As a member of many civic groups including the Jaycees, Sonny was known for his big heart and generous spirit. Sonny was a member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel, OK. He was employed at the Idabel National Bank for over 30 years until his retirement in 1998, and continued to serve on the board of directors until his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otho S. Minter Sr and Deta Pollard Minter; sisters, Betty Jo Spencer and Gladys Simmons; and a grandson, Isaac Arnold. Sonny is survived by his wife, Glenna Minter of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Deanna Minter of Wake Forest, NC; stepchildren, Glen Hendon of Eagletown , OK, Regina and Jason Brown of Glenpool, OK and Saundra and Mike Arnold of Cushing, OK; grandsons, Carter Minter, Camden Minter, Brandon Brown, Connor Brown, Alex Purdy and Ian Arnold; granddaughters, Chelsie Long and husband, Josh Long, Chelsea Hendon, Courtney Hendon; a great-grandson, Landyn Guilbeau; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives; as well as a host of friends from his army years, college days, pipelining experiences and years as a citizen of Idabel. A Celebration of Sonny's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the White Family Chapel with Bro. Andy Bowman officiating.
