Survivors include his wife, Valena Angle Minter of the home; daughters, Delores Weber of Reidsville, Denita McDaniel of Danville, Va. and Kim Minter of the home; son, Charles Minter of Raleigh; sisters, Lorene Mattox of Martinsville, Va. and Helen Naff of Bassett, Va.; brother, Melvin Minter of Chesapeake, Va. and three grandchildren.
