Jewel Llewellyn HUNSLEY

1906 - 1986  (80 years)

• Name	Jewel Llewellyn HUNSLEY  [1]
Birth	26 Jan 1906	Illinois, USA
  Gender	Male
  _UID	9EF12FFC5D464CF1B850479AC4C62D4680CA
Death	15 Sep 1986	Illinois, USA
Burial	Edinburg Cemetery, Christian County, Illinois, USA   [2]
Notes	1940 US Federal Census: in Buckhart, Christian County, Illinois (all HUNSLEY), Jewel L (head, 34, born Illinois, farmer), Ruth (wife, 43, born Illinois) and Hallie Marie ANGLETON (see below) (daughter, 20, born Illinois). Note that in the 1930 census Jewel was single and living with his parents. I suspect the daughter shown above, whose name is preceded by something like ANGLETON, was Ruth's daughter. Ruth was several years older than Jewel. According to the Goodwin Goodin tree at Ancestry, Ruth was Ruth M WALKER and she married Hally Wade ANGLETON on 13 August 1913 in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. They appear is US censuses: 1920 US Federal Census: in District 0182, Cooper, Sangamon County, Illinois (both ANGLETON), Hallie (head, 26, born Illinois, farmer) and Ruth M (wife, 24, born Illinois). 1930 US Federal Census: in District 57, Cooper, Sangamon County, Illinois (all ANGLETON), Hally (head, 38, married when 23, born Illinois, farmer), Ruth M (wife, 35, married when 20 *, born Illinois) and Hallie (daughter, 10, born Illinois). Also a lodger. * this doesn't tally with the marriage date quoted at the Goodwin Goodin tree at Ancestry.
