  Notes	Probably a witness at Boughton under Blean (St Peter and St Paul) on 19 October 1822 at the marriage of John London of this parish and Catherine James of Dunkirk (the signature is very similar to the one Henry used at his own marriage in 1823) A blacksmith at Boughton between 1823 and 1831. Henry Minter, smith, Boughton in Pigots Directory of Kent, 1826 - 27. 1841 census: in Boughton Street, Boughton under Blean, Kent, Henry (45, blacksmith), Mary (40), William (15, blacksmith), Mary (13), Henry (12) and Matilda (9). Possibly the Henry Minter, blacksmith of Boughton, who appeared in the History & Directory of the County of Kent by S Bagshaw, 1847. Buried as of Boughton, aged 53. Will proved on 20 March 1849 at Canterbury Consistory Court, by the oath of George Willis Boulden, sole executor. Will seen by Kirkham Sidney Minter at Maidstone, 23 August 1954. Noted as follows: Will of Henry Minter of Bouton-under-Blean, Blacksmith. All real estate and all testator's part share and interest of, in and to real estate, whatsoever and wheresoever, to my dear wife, Mary Minter, her heirs and assigns for ever and absolutely, also all household goods and furniture, money, and securities, stock and implements of trade, trade debts and effects, and testator's part share and interest therein, and all other personal property. Sole executor: George Willis boulden of Boughton-under-Blean, Wheelwright. Witnesses: Stephen Minter, Thomas Andrew. 1851 census: in Boughton Village, Mary (50, blacksmith employing 2 men) and son Henry (22, blacksmith journeyman). Mary was listed in - the 1852 Post Office Directory of Kent (Kelly's) as Mrs Mary Minter, blacksmith, Boughton. - the Directory of Kent, Melville & Co, 1858 as Mrs Mary Minter, blacksmith, Boughton. 1861 census: in Boughton Street, Boughton under Blean, Kent, Mary (58, carrying on smith's business), Henry (31, blacksmith's son) and granddaughter Charlotte (13) (Son William's daughter). 1871 census: in Boughton Street, Boughton, Kent, Mary (69, blacksmith's widow) and Harry (43, journeyman blacksmith). 1881 census: in The Street, Boughton, Kent, Mary (79) and Henry (51, blacksmith).
