The boarder Mary A Minter was probably George's mother, age stated as 58, a cook. Died of apoplexy induced by sunstroke. His occupation was labourer in cement works.

Fanny's father was Henry Howe (gardener). George's father was George Minter (shoemaker) deceased. Married in the Watling Street Chapel according to the rites and ceremonies of the Independents by certificate by me Valentine Ward, Minister and Herbert Dunn Registrar. The Witnesses were John Green and William Chapman Curry.
