  Notes	From https://rshg.org.uk: Isle of Wight Times Thursday May 14 1936: We record with regret the death on Friday, of Mr. Harry Minter TARRANT, aged 71, at the Westfield Nursing Home. Mr. TARRANT who had been in ill health for some years, was a native of Ryde and had been a traveller for Messrs. OAKWOODS. In his younger days the deceased was well known as an enthusiastic cyclist competing in numerous races on the Island. The chief mourners present at the funeral at Ryde on Monday were Mr. C. TARRANT and Mr. I. TARRANT (sons), and Mr. J. TARRANT (brother). The numerous floral tributes included one from Messrs. OAKWOOD.
