  Notes	From findagrave.com, Mar 2015: DENNIS WILLIAM MINTER was born in El Campo, Texas on January 7, 1940 and entered into the presence of his Lord August 21, 2010.He is preceded in death by his son Alan, Sr., grandson, Jeff Sapp, and parents Will-Ike and Cassie Minter.Dennis is survived by his wife of 51 years Myrtle, his daughter Juli Brewer and husband Gary, brother Larry Minter and wife Jo, grandchildren Travis Falcon, Alan Minter, Jr., Alicia Minter, James Sapp, JoAnna Sapp and Julian Sapp, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and very dear friends.Dennis was a member of First Baptist Church South Houston, Archives Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Arabian Temple and Pipefitters Local 211. He loved to hunt, fish and work in the yard. Dennis could push a dried up plant in the ground and make it a beautiful flowering bush. His backyard was a haven for birds and squirrels.Visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, August 24th, and the Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Wednesday, both held at Niday Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Energy Cemetery in the Belott community near Crockett, Texas at 2:30pm.
