Mrs. Minter was born in Floyd County on July 23, 1949, daughter of the late, Lucille Aikens. She was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee of Tip Top Poultry Company. She was married to the late Donald Minter who preceded her in death in 1986. Survivors include a son, John Minter and 2 daughters, Betty Jo Dempsey (Chris) and Jennifer Jones (Bill); 11 grandchildren, 3 Step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South chapel. The Rev. John Moates will office. Interment will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel Mrs. Mary Frances Minter, age 70, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, Pallbearers serving are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South chapel at and include; Coyote Minter, Ben Minter, Justin Dempsey, Christopher Jones, Tyler Jones, Tim Forston and Guy Hunt.
