David was born June 25, 1958 In Rome, Georgia to the late Robert David Minter, Sr. and Betty Jo Garrett Minter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maryann Pearl Harris Minter in 2005 and by his sisters, Debra Floyd and Angela Shaw. David had a great work ethic and had spent 38 years building and remodeling Waffle House's across the country. He loved to bid on auctions, especially storage buildings full of treasures that he could not live without. He was a huge sports enthusiast - Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. Survivors include his children, Robert David Minter, III (Deanna) of Milton, FL, Amanda (Sam) Kitzmiller of McDonough and Mary Minter of Thomaston; grandchildren, Dalyn Kitzmiller, Brooke Kitzmiller, Haylee Minter, Emylee Minter and Elijah; brother, Bob (Beth) Minter of Locust Grove; several nieces. Friends may visit the family Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM with a funeral service to be held at 4:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
