  Notes	From findagrave.com, May 2015: David Minter was born in Floyd County to Bessie and Robert Herman Minter and grew up to marry his sweetheart, Betty Jo Garrett. They were blessed with 2 sons and 2 daughters, David Jr, Bob, Angela and Debra. By David (Mary Ann) a grandson, David III and granddaughter Amanda, granddaughter Mary. By Bob (Beth) he as 2 granddaughters, Savannah and Lauren. By Angela (Melvin Campbell) a granddaughter, Jessica and Debra (Ray Floyd), 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Brandy. After the passing of Betty Jo, his first wife, he met Kay and married her. He loved spending time with his famiy and especially loved to go fishing and camping. The loss of his daughter, Debra, was hard to endure and the year following her death he also passed away in Alabama at the lake enjoying what he loved to do most.
