  Notes	From findagrave.co, May 2015: Max Martin Minter IV, 20 of Nederland, passed away, Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Funeral Service will be 2 PM, Friday, December 22, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Reverend Kevin Otto and Reverend Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 1-8 PM, Thursday at the mortuary. He was a native of Nederland where he lived all his life. He graduated from Nederland High School in 2005. He worked in construction as an electrician apprentice for DCS. He attended Lamar State College Port Arthur and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Betty Minter, and aunt Marilyn Minter. He is survived by his mother, Cindy Minter of Nederland; sister, Christy Minter of Nederland; father, Max Martin Minter III and his wife Janis of Sugar Land; grandparents David and Faye Griffin of Nederland; two aunts Carolyn Bass and husband Raymond of Nederland, Nancy Loyd of Beaumont; uncle, Bobby Griffin and his wife Kelli of Spring; cousins; Hannah Bass and Jenna Griffin, two nephews, David and his wife Alba Bass and Jim Loyd. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to MCT Credit Union, Account # 14118-051. A report in the Port Arthur News reveals that Max died as a result of injuries incurred when he "was on the back of a wrecker near Beauxart Gardens Road when hay on the truck shifted and knocked Minter onto the pavement."
