  Notes	Thomas's marriage(s) are a bit of a mystery. According to the 'All Alberta, Canada, Marriages Index,1898-1942' at ancestry, he married Ethel I BIRKETT at Kitscoty, Alberta, in 1937. However, it would appear from the evidence of the matching tombstones shown at findagrave.com, that Thomas was married to Alexandria "Lola", whose surname is unknown. Both Thomas and Alexandria were buried in the Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta. A stone tablet is fixed to Alexandria's tomb. It says "In loving memory our sister & aunt Carolyn Lee Minter Aug 21 1956 - July 14 2011 Always remembered & loved." 1949 Canada Voters List includes Thomas, a tie loader, and Mrs Lola Minter in Edson, Alberta. 1957 Canada Voters List includes Thomas, lumberman, and Mrs Thomas Minter in Edson, Alberta.
