  Notes	Elizabeth's surname is shown on the marriage index as MURISOW but I suspect it might have been something other than that, perhaps MORISON. No trace of Elizabeth's birth has been found. A death announcement appeared in the Evening Post on 21 July 1913: "On the 15th July, at Dunedin, Elizabeth, wife of G W Minter, of Wellington, and second daughter of the late T A Cargill, manager Commercial Bank, Sydney, and granddaughter of the late Captain Cargill, founder and Superintendent of Otago." Elizabeth evidently married in 1865 (ref 1865/694) but the record doesn't show the groom's name. However, the Troy family tree at Ancestry.co.uk says it was William Dick MURISON, a well-known Dunedin resident, who was among other things editor of the Otago Times and died on 29 December 1877. The Troy tree has Elizabeth's birthplace as Kingston, Jamaica.
