  Notes	From findagrave.com: STOKESDALE — Mr. John Willard Minter, Sr., 66, of 1159 Lemons Road, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Adams Farm Living and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, at the Chapel of Ray Funeral Home. Interment will follow with military graveside rites at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, Va. Mr. Minter was born on June 15, 1942, in Fieldale, Va. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from Salem Leasing. He is survived by his wife, Mary Maxey Minter of the home; mother and step father, Adina Walker Manuel and Dillard Manuel; sons, John Willard Minter, Jr., of Ridgeway, Va., and Bill Thomas "Tommy" Minter of Stoneville; daughter, Crystal Gail Minter of Stoneville; step son, Jeffrey Anglin and wife, Lisa of Fieldale, Va.; five grandchildren, John Minter, April Minter, William Minter, Tiffany Anglin, and James Anglin; and two great grandchildren.
