Mrs. Mona Cannaday Stoneman Minter, 49 of Melrose Drive, Bassett Forks, died Monday in General Hospital after several months of illness. She was a member of Fort Trial Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Willard C. Minter; two daughters, Mrs. Zona Ingram of Collinsville and Mrs. Kay Fain of Bassett Forks; a son Larry Edgar (Bud) Stoneman of Martinsville; a stepson, John W. Minter of Stoneville, NC; a sister, Mrs. Irene Beck of Bassett, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Cannaday of Bassett Forks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fort Trial Christian Church by the Rev R.D. Ray with burial in Roselawn Burial Park. The family is at the home of the son at 746 Stultz Road, Martinsville, and will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett from 7-9 p.m. tonight. ===REF Martinsville Bulletin Newspaper week of 15 September 1969
