  Notes	findagrave.com, Dec 2015: Dorothy Faye Minter Ventrca, at the age of 87 and after a long illness, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012 at the Ennis Care Center where she was a resident for the past 12 years. She was born January 15, 1925 to John Elmer and Lela Bell Williams Minter in Crisp, Texas. On October 6, 1946 she married Richard J. Ventrca. After making a home in Houston, they moved to Ennis and then to Longview, Texas. In 1999 Dorothy moved back to Ennis. Dorothy was a member of the Anthony Drive Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by one sister: Lurlene and her husband J.M. Richardson of Longview, Texas; three sons: John and his wife, Lorraine of Denton, Texas, Richard and his wife, Mary Jane of Tomball, Texas, Kem and his wife, Linda of Bardwell, Texas; Seven grandchildren: Christi Hard, Jacob Ventrca, Rachel Leach, Chris Ventrca, Michael Ventrca, Jessica Bynum and Jennifer Garrison; Eleven great-grandchildren, Allie, Joshua and Amanda Hard, Tyler, Riley, Logan, Whitley, Gracie, Sierra and Bryce Ventrca, and Chase Bynum; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years in 1993 and her sister Molly Lou Warren in 1999. The family sincerely appreciates the care provided by Family First Hospice and all the staff at the Ennis Care Center. Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6pm till 8pm. Services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10am in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis with Pastor Jerry Fulton from Anthony Drive Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Myrtle Cemetery.
