    Notes 
    • The 1790 Suffolk Poll Book has an entry for Fynn Minter of Framlingham. (Source Ancestry.com, UK, Poll Books and Electoral Registers, 1538-1893).

      Fynn entered a relationship with Rose Buckingham but did not marry her. They had two sons, Fynn BUCKINGHAM (who died in 1789) and Abraham Minter BUCKINGHAM. In his Will, Fynn described Abraham as "his only natural son, Abraham Minter Buckingham, a tailor of Huntingfield".
      The National Archives contain, within a 'bundle of bonds of indemnity for bastard children', the following items:
      Fynn Minter, Framlingham, periwig-maker, and Robert Taylor, of the same place, carrier, for Rose Buckingham, 7th December, 1775. - ref. FC101/G10/2/9 - [n.d.]
      Fynn Minter, Framlingham, periwig-maker, for Rose Buckingham, Framlingham, 4th May, 1779. - ref. FC101/G10/2/6 - [n.d.]

      The following summary of Fynn's Will points to some of his relatives:
      To Mary his wife, rents, interest, profits of estate.clothes and watch.
      To his only natural son, Abraham Minter Buckingham, a tailor of Huntingfield, £200, wearing apparel, best silver watch.
      To neice Anna Simpson,wife of Samuel Simpson of Framlingham, shoemaker, £100 and musical instruments.
      To Sibilla Hill, wife of James Hill, Schoolmaster £10.
      The rest equally divided between children of Elizabeth Ashford of Saxtead, his sister, and the children of his late sister Susan Button of Framlingham.
      Adding codecil: to Javelean Hill son of James Hill, old silver watch.
      To Mary Ann Simpson, furniture and bed linen:----etc, etc (She daughter of. Samuel Simpson)

      Fynn was in trade as a periwig maker from 1775.
