      TYLER - Jannie Henderson, 63, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011.

      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery by Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler.

      Jannie was born Dec. 13, 1947, in Jacksonville to Grady and Helena Dark. She graduated from Jacksonville High School, class of 1965.

      She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Minter, and they had two daughters, which she adored. She attended Tyler Business College in 1966.

      She later married her second husband and soul mate, Guinn Henderson, on March 1, 1975.

      Jannie worked as a secretary and office manager most of her life. She worked for Massey and Brown Sporting Goods/RTS for 35 years.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Neil Dark.

      Survivors include her husband, Guinn Henderson; four children, Teri Jackson and husband Loys of New London, James Henderson and wife Janet of Shamrock, Lorye Glass and husband Joel of Laredo, and Hollye Minter of Rowlett; a brother, Johnny Dark of Tyler; her twin sister, Janice Fitch of Troup. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Dean Peiskee of Fort Worth and J.D. Peiskee of Stephenville, Collin and Drew Rohr, both of Rowlett, Julia and Olivia Glass, both of Laredo, Brandon Jackson of New London, and Ryan and Ashley Medlock, both of Shamrock; and a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Peiskee of Fort Worth. She also will be missed by her mother-in-law, Siegal Henderson of Twitty.

      Pallbearers will be James Henderson, Dean Peiskee, J.D. Peiskee, Collin Rohr, Drew Rohr and Brandon Jackson.

      The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231; American Cancer Society, 1301 S. Broadway Ave., Tyler, TX 75703; Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265; or Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75703.

      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
