| Notes |
- 1911 census: at 10 Woodstock Road, Shepherds Bush, London W (2 rooms) (all DURRANT), Sidney Arthur (head, 26, married, advertising representative, soap, born Sudbury, Suffolk
Rose Fanny (wife, 28, married 4 years, 2 children, 1 living, 1 dead*, born Ealing, London) and Bernard Arthur (son, 2, born Shepherds Bush).
* Reginald Edward, born 1909, died 1910.
The immigration year for Sydney, Rose and Bernard is shown as 1910 in the 1920 US census and as 1911 in the 1930 US census.But unless they did the crossing twice, the actual year was 1912 - Ancestry.com has the following in its "Massachusetts, U.S., Arriving Passenger and Crew Lists, 1820-1963" collection:
arriving at Boston, the SS Cymric, which left Liverpool on 30 July 1912. On board were Sidney Arthur (38, a traveller), Rose Fanny (30, housewife) and Bernard Arthur (4). Their contact in Englad was Sidney's father A O Durrant, Meadow View Villas, Sudbury, Norfolk (sic). They were heading for Northampton, Massachusetts.
Rose and Bernard must have returned to England at some stage because they appeared on Ancestry.com's "UK and Ireland, Outward Passenger Lists, 1890-1960" collection:
Rose Fanny DURRANT, aged 35, a housewife and Bernard DURRANT, aged 10 left Plymouth on 21 May 1919 on the SS Rotterdam bound for New York. Their intended place of residence was Rhode Island, USA.

Also two young children as boarders.

The SSDI (at Ancestry.com) gives Sydney's death as Oct 1966 and his last address as 02915, Riverside, Providence, Rhode Island, USA. His Social Securiy Number was 037-03-6831.
