  Notes	It's not clear exactly when John moved into Dickleburgh, Norfolk but an indication comes from one of the Dickleburgh Parish Registers. It contains the results of two efforts to raise money for the poor of Dickleburgh by levying a rate of one halfpenny in the pound (it's not clear on what - perhaps some assessment of the value of the property occupied by the villagers). The first of these took place in 1699 and John Minter wasn't listed. The second was in 1726 and in this, John Minter was assessed at £9 and therefore made a contribution of 4½ pence. A more accurate estimate of the date John arrived in Dickleburgh is that his son William was baptised in Billingford in 1705 and his next child Mary was baptised in Dickleburgh in 1707.
