He was born February 11, 1957 in Crockett, Texas to parents, Bobby Jack Minter and Kathryn Gallant Minter. He was a member of the Grace Street Church of Christ.Bobby never met a stranger, treated everyone as equals, and took time for anyone in need. He was a loving family man, the "best dad ever" and his door was always open. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Minter; and father-in-law, Alan Sherrod. Memorial services for Bobby Renay Minter will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Goss and Mr. Josh Crabtree officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that bright colored balloons be present at the service.
