  Notes	From findagrave.com, Mar 2015: Mr. Jesse Stapp, age 84 of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in Winfield Healthcare in Crockett. Mr. Stapp was born April 24, 1924 in Houston County, Texas and was a resident of Houston County most of his lifetime. Mr. Stapp was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Mr. Stapp was a retired Contractor and a member of the Latexo Baptist Church. Survivors include wife Geraldine Denton Stapp, of Crockett; children Randie Johnson and husband Bruce, of Spring and Ann Batterson, of Marfa; step-children Leroy Gibbins and wife Nancy, of Houston, Daniel Gibbins and wife Denine, of Latexo, Jessica Ingle and husband James, of Grapeland and David Gibbins, of Houston; sister Jewel Manning, of Mt. Belview; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse A. Stapp of were held Saturday, May 17, at 1:00 p.m. in the Latexo Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Jones and Dr. Jeff Taylor officiating. Interment followed in the Latexo Cemetery.
