  Notes	Findagrave.com: Services for John Paul Minter, 60, of Heflin were held July 16 at Heflin Baptist Church with the Revs. Chris Jackson and Ray Whitaker officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Mr. Minter died July 14. He was born July 21, 1940, in Lineville. He had been a resident of Heflin since 1968. He was a member of the Heflin Fire Department for over 25 years, a member and deacon of Good Hope Baptist Church in Lineville, a commitee member of Boy Scout Troop 206 in Heflin, member of the Board of Director's of Cleburne County Cattlemen's Association, past councilman for the City of Heflin, the Cleburne County Hospital Board member, past trustee of the Cleburne County Elementary School and owner of Heflin Electric. Surivors include his wife, Ann Minter of Heflin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Sandra Minter and Kevin and Vicki Minter, all of Heflin; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Heflin firemen David Ledbetter, Bryan Tumlin, Rudy Rooks, Skipper Bailey, Keith Roberts, Jonathan Adams, Heath Adams, and Randy Rooks.
