  Notes	From findagrave.com: LINEVILLE - Funeral service for Charles H. Minter, 69, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with John David Parker and Andrew Dressler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Minter died Sept. 24 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home in Alexander City. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, was a Korean War veteran and was a lineman with Local 136 for more than 43 years. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Edger and Audie Price Minter; and one brother, Paul Minter. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dandridge Minter of Lineville; sons, Terry Minter of Lineville and Robert L. Engstrom of Alexander City; one brother, Byron Minter of Oxford; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Minter, Michael Engstrom, Kevin Minter, Kevin Engstrom, Shon Dukes and Tim Pilkington. The staff of Bill Nichols Veterans Home will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and until service time Friday.
