  Notes	According to Thomas Nevitt, Benjamin and Jane had fourteen children, one of whom, Walthall 'Waltus' Lockett Watkins, was born in Woodford County, Kentucky on 30 October 1806 and died on 24 January 1884 at Watkins Mill, Clay County, Missouri. On 5 October 1997 Thomas Nevitt posted the following: "Contact at "Watkins Mill" is Cindy who is a park ranger and the historian Her number is (816) 296-3357 This writer visited Watkins Mill this summer and found it very interesting, especially when I came across the Dupuy and Trabue family tree such as the one I have hanging above the Mantel of the old Watkins home. The reason for this is that Mr. Watkins is the son of Jane Minter Watkins who is Jeremiah A. Minters sister. "Waltus" , his wife Mary Ann Holloway Watkins and his mother Jane Minter Watkins as well as other family members are buried in the family cemetery there at the mill.
