Notes	Birth registration not found. John's name appears on ancestry.com's U.S. and Canada, Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s, arriving in Detroit, USA in 1891. John (44) and Emma (44) arrived at Quebec from Liverpool on 25 Sep 1908 on the 'Empress of Britain'. They were headed for Walkerville. John (60, retired) and Emma (58) arrived at Montreal on the 'Doric' which left Liverpool on 18 Jul 1924 John aged 61 arrived at Liverpool from Montreal & Quebec on the 'Regina' on 22 May 1926. With him were his wife Emma A (61), his brother Charles J (65) and his wife Ediith M (61). They were evidently on a holiday trip - they all returned to Montreal from Liverpool on the 'Megantic' on 30 Jul 1926.
