  Notes	The inclusion of Gordon as a son of William and Jane is inferred from the following: 1. Gordon first appeared in an Electoral Roll in 1949. He appeared on the line above his supposed mother Jane, whose address was just Lucknow, with the address 'Box 9, Lucknow'. 2. The newspaper report of the 1951 marriage of Gordon Minter and Lorna Dorothy SHIELDS referred to Gordon as the 'youngest son of Mrs W Minter of Bairnsdale and the late Mr Minter'. It also referred to the groomsman as Mr Lindsay Minter, brother of the bridegroom. There is no clue to Gordon's age when he got married. I have guessed he was born about 1920. The wedding report referred to above is online at Trove. It appeared in the Gippsland Times on 23 July 1951 and gave the date of marriage as 23 June at the Methodist Church, Sale. A second version of the 1977 Roll has: Gordon Minter, Llowalong 3862, farmer Lorna Dorothy Minter, Llowalong 3862, home duties Brian Gordon Minter, Llowalong, Strfd 3862, fitter Colin John Minter, Llowalong 3862, cook. The 1980 Electoral Roll for Maffra, Gippsland, Victoria included: Gordon Minter, Llowalong, farmer Lorna Dorothy Minter, Llowalong, home duties Brian Gordon, Llowalong, Strfd, fitter Colin John Minter, Llowalong, cook.
