May relate to this Edward although age is questionable. 1861 census: at 6, One House, Herne Bay, Kent, Edward (28, plasterer), Martha (29). 1871 census: Martha was on her own, boarding at 54 St Johns Road, Faversham, Kent. Edward (37, plasterer) was staying at 17 Lion Place, Margate, Kent. 1881 census: at 32 Diggin Street, Mile End Old Town, London, Edward (46, plasterer) and Martha (50). 1891 census: Edward (56, plasterer) was boarding at 7 Cooper Road, Guildford, Surrey; Martha (62) was at 44 Dalmain Road, Lewisham, Kent. 1901 census (indexed under WINTER): at 69 Beadnell Road, Lewisham, Kent, Edward (66, plasterer) and Martha (68, said to have been born in Walden, Essex (earlier censuses said Kentish Town, Middlesex). 1911 census: at 24 Wingfield St, London SE (2 rooms), Edward (head, 76, widower, married 55 years (crossed out), plasterer, born Canterbury, Kent) and Alice (niece, 43, spinster, housekeeper, born Lea Bridge, Middlesex). Form signed Edward Minter.
