- In 1913 Walter Lennox Wilmot, clerk aged 25, left Southampton for Genoa on 15 April on the 'Rembrandt'
Walter was evidently in the Royal Navy, with seniority from 11 June 1915 as a Temporary Assistant Paymaster in the RN Reserve.
Walter and brother Francis appeared in the 1924 Electoral Register at 93 Tierney Road, Streatham, London.
On 16 June 1939, Walter Lennox Wilmot, 51, bank manager of Oak Hille Cottage, Sevenoaks, Kent, and Valentine Marie Francoise Wilmot, 44, left Southampton on the 'Johan van Oldenbarnevelt' bound for Genoa.
