      The following, which probably relates to Doris gertrude, appeared in the Hastings and St Leonards Observer on 16 January 2008:
      Grosvenor House resident Doris Minter celebrated her 104th birthday with a visit from Mayor Maureen Charlesworth. A small party was held on the day for the St Leonards' nursing home resident of 13 years.

      Doris reached 105 years of age before she died in February 2009.
