  Notes	The baptismal record at FreeREG includes the following note: "Wm base born son of Wm Waller, Horsler at the White Horse in All Saints Parish, born of the body of Elizth Minter of St Peter's was baptized the thirteenth day of September aged abt 15 months". I can't find a baptism around 1740 at All Saints, Maldon or at St Peters, Maldon, of William's mother Elizabeth Minter (searched 20 Jul 2016). The 1826 Essex Poll Book, Borough of Maldon, has entries for Charles and William Minter, both mariners of Maldon. (Source Ancestry.com, UK, Poll Books and Electoral Registers, 1538-1893). These entries are thought to relate to this William Minter and his son Charles. William's wife's death certificate gives William's occupation as mariner. He was buried age 80, of St Peters.

Witnesses were Wm Ward (signed) and Sarah Ward (marked).
