Form signed A Minter. There is a picture of this part of New Kings Road in 'Images of London - Fulham' by Patrick Loobey, published in 2004 by Temple Publishing Ltd of Gloucestershire. The text below the picture mentions Arthur's shop at number 26. This book was brought to my attention by Mike Minter of BC, Canada, who happened to find a copy in his flat on a visit to London in 2008. 1939 Register: at 273 Margate Road, Ramsgate M.B., Kent Minter, Arthur born 14 Apr 1875, married, pastry cook (retired).
