Reported in the Kentish Gazette on Friday 23 July 1824: Died July 21 at Folkestone Mr Bartholomew Minter aged 75. Monumental Inscription reads: Mr Bartholomew MINTER died July 21, 1824, aged 75. Left Mary his wife, and one son John. Mary wife of above died February 11, 1827, aged 78. Another MI reads: To 1 son and 3 daughters of Bartholomew and Mary MINTER. Jane died 24 March 177-, aged (?10) Weeks. Jane died 12 May 1779, aged … Months. Bartholomew died … March 1780 aged …Days. Mary died … October 1781, aged 2 Years.
