information from Kermon Thomasson
Thomasson Traces, p. 1 George Thomasson became a member of the Stationer's Company in 1626 and engaged in the publishing and bookselling business. He became famous for his collection of the English Civil War Tracts and apart from the history surrounding these tracts, very little is known of his life. His will was p 27 Apr 1666 with his son Henry and son-in-law, William Stonestreet, as executors.
There is a good deal of information about George Thomason on the Web. He appears to have had at least 7 children. The baptisms of two of them, Thomas and Frances, have been found in the parish register of St Faith under St Paul, London, England (at Ancestry) but the dates of birth/baptism of the others aren't known.
It seems that Thomas and Edward Thomason settled in Virginia in the 17th century.
